Edward Carfano, President & Co-Founder Mr. Carfano is an Adjunct Professor at the Boston University School of Public Health. He has 42 years of experience as an award-winning director and film producer. He created and produced the American Heart Association public service announcement entitled "Like Father, Like Son",which was the longest running public service announcement in history. His work has won more than 20 awards, including the Cannes Film Festival Award, International Film Festival Award, Golden Eagle Awards, and New York Festival Awards. In 1961 his "Day of the Painter" won an Academy Award for best live action short film. |

Kerry Gallivan, Executive Vice President & Co-Founder Mr. Gallivan is the former Technology Director at Join Together, a project of the Boston University School of Public Health. Join Together is a national resource center for communities working against substance abuse and gun violence. At Join Together he directed the team responsible for the websites and associated web services that are widely recognized as leaders in the application of the Web for substance abuse and gun violence prevention. Prior to joining Join Together, he served as the Chief Programs Officer at SatelLife, an international non-profit based in Boston, Massachusetts, where he worked throughout sub-Saharan Africa and SE Asia pioneering the use of the Internet for public health workers. He has also worked as a consultant to the International Waters Learning Exchange and Resource Network at United Nations Development Programme (UNDP) and Mothers Against Drunk Driving (MADD). |
